I jist wanna ramble about my little idea

A Sun/Moon cult au that popped up.in my head while listening to AXOLOTL on full blast in my car for 2 hours

I'll be using He/They for the Y/n but will be Afab in body

Y/n is a 20 year old Trans/Enby Masc who is utterly disrespected and actively berated to "be normal" and that he's "blessed to have a woman's body" and such by his family and church. After years of being sabotaged by his family and jobs lost and no hope he's handed a small "support group" pamphlet by a person in a robe with a seemingly animatronic controlled sun mask on. You sneak out to this group every week and it turns out to be a full LGBT and medical support group full of others like you and someone talking about how thier group heals and supports people through the power of the day and night cycle. Something about how both the sun and moon have powers and a meeting with them can help or even fix or replace what has been hurting. Showing off the robotic leg they have and explaining that the sun gave it to them as a blessing.

Alot of it sounded like alot of bathroom surgery doctors jist trying to help people but honestly from what you've been through the back of your mind is genuinely thinking on it. After a hard night it makes you run out into the forest to calm down. You've done this so many times but this time a figure meets you in your normal spot. It scares the shit out of you but they look like they are from the same group you've been meeting with, red eyes pointed at you on the mask they wear. Offering to bring you away from it all, to be who you are and be free to live happy with them. You take its hand, and thats that. You leave it all behind for this new life.

Sun and Moon

They both wear cloaks when out in public or the main eye of the cult not letting anyone know the "masks" they wear aren't masks. It's just them. The wear gloves and keep thier hoods up almost at all times but Sun is definitely a bit to hyper and it's fallen a few times making them wear a bit of padded protection on the back of thier faceplate not only as a failsafe for anyone trying to attack them but it makes it look like a human head and further selling the mask idea to the followers. I haven't figured out colors but Sun is very activity oriented and gives tasks to everyone to keep things running and fun while moon is music based and teaches songs and tells storys and when the group is asleep Sun stands watch while moon goes into town like the little kleptomaniac he is and steals for the cult to make sure they are taken care of and have the needs of his people met

I wanna make a fic on it so bad, just gotta figure out how to start it.

I'm loving your Arc V swap AU so far! I am curious though: how do the dimensional dragons swap? Do they just change aesthetics, or something more?

anyway, aw man buddy you got no IDEA how swapped up these dimension dragons are, eheheheh. Right out the gate we ended up fuckign around and changing each summoning method's associated color(s) (so fusion is whites and vibrant greens, xyz is red/blue gradient/i guess also that seafoam/orange gradient of pend cards, pendulum is all blacks and greys, and synchro is purples,) so each yuboy does keep their dragon from canon, and it gets to roughly keep its color palette, but the summoning method associated with each is also swapped around, as are its deeper motifs/aesthetics. Here's a lil rough overview of the four of 'em.

Eclipse-Eyes Xyz Dragon

@zxal named this one and it kicks so much ass. Playing around with sun and moon light and dark type motifs; it has a hyper aggressive evolved version called Eclipse-Eyes Totality Dragon that Yuya first summons in absolute earth shattering fury. It bites Sora's arm off at the Arc League Championship. Don't worry about it <3

Big beastie with two-faces...y'ever see Janus cats before?? It's like that but a dragon. Fucking around with the vibes of duality, beginnings and endings, creation and destruction, etc etc etc. It upgrades into Dark Entropy Pendulum Dragon<-- (ZXAL'S NAMES DONT MISS!!!) and has an Odd-Eyes Rebellion-type combined form with Eclipse-Eyes that gets busted out called Eclipse-Eyes Penumbra Dragon :^) yaaay The Big Bang and heat death of the universe YAAAY

I think this one's name and Shattered Wing below both came to me while I was falling asleep one night and kickstarted this whole mess. ANYWAY we're still cooking on the visual direction going on with this gnarly guy but it has big oily black feathery wings!! It upgrades into Furious Venom Synchro Dragon and hey buddy. hey synchro yuri. is that supposed to be 'furious' as in angry or 'furious' as in desperate. or is it maybe both <3 ah

Shattered Wing Fusion Dragon

SHATTERED WING IS MY BABYYYYY fusion yugo is really in my brain Especially Bad. imagine Clear Wing but its wings are completely smashed and broken, leaving it grounded. It has no back legs so it drags itself across the ground sooo slowly. but never giving up. Endurance predator 💚 It also upgrades into the absolutely horrifying Perfect-Wing Fusion Dragon that I took a lot of inspo from uranium glass, nuclear fusion, and glassblowing for--it glows with sickly green light and has yucky melted glass wings amalgamated from God Knows Where. we're still sussing out the abilities of all the swapped dragons but i think Perfect-Wing absorbs monsters to add to its 'perfect' state <-- (BIASED FONDNESS FOR YGO MONSTERS THAT STEAL YOUR MONSTER)

Tickletober: Universal Monsters || Week 3 - The Wolf Man

Mother of Luci! Night again! Do I hear... howling??

It's almost 11 at night. The wind was gentle yet constant, only a few clouds in the sky, and a big bright red moon high above the Hydra Hights Campus. Ambassador of Varsity Airball, Louston Fauntletron, and Vice Bird of Student Council, Cera Phoenix, decided to venture outside of the main building after their meetings ended.

"Whoa! The place is much bigger than I thought," said Cera. She turned to the seemingly normal Dragon/Labrador hybrid with "Thanks for sharing your post meeting break, Lou!" The dragon responded with an etiquette laugh, "No kiddin' suga beak! This is the best hangout I've had in ages."

Louston speaks a New York accent while Cera can speak with a slight Scottish accent but hides it well. Instead, she taught herself to speak with a general American accent but some of her Scottish words slip out. Despite this, they reassured that no matter what, they're still BF and GF.

Like now, Louston lures her with a game of chase that lasted 2 minutes. "Ah! Hahaha! Ya got me again!" Cera heard his laughter and immediately suspected that Louston was ticklish. But before she could ask, she saw her dragon friend looking up. The lunar eclipse was THAT NIGHT...

Louston groaned in pain, was he about to transform? He's got to be, but if he is, transforming into what? When all the pain stopped, Lou glared at the bird and... howled? Cera WAS surprised. "Och mah wuid!" Lou panicked, "Cera, i- it's not that- I can explain! Really!" The thought of her storming away Haunted him, but Cera spoke up and admitted her opinion, "Not what me thinkin? Swatch at ye! ye swatch jist- jist- awesome!"

After consoling her boyfriend and hugging him, she finally asked him "I want to ask... Ur ye ticklish?" Although she spoke in a Scottish accent again, Louston understood her very clearly. He tried to convince her that he wasn't, but she wasn't having it.

The bird wrapped her wings around Lou and shook them side to side, making a vibrating sensation on the sides of the dragon's waist. Lou belted a shrill belly laugh that sounded so funny, even Cera was laughing along. "AGH! NO FAHAHAHAIR -BWAHAHA! HEHEHE! AH! NOHOHO! squeak! Ahahahaha! Ohohohoho! Eek! STOHOHOP! STAHAHAHAP! EHEHEHEHE! OHOOHOOHOOHOO!"

The two creatures laughed together for a full 7 minutes, Cera decided to leave her dragon friend alone... for now. "Admit it, my lovely 'weredragon'. You ARE ticklish!" A tickle drunk Louston finally admits, "Yes! I'm ticklish! Okay, stop it! Please, I give! I give!"

Cera and Lou moved on with the rest of their night, "Thank ya much, Lou."

"For what?" Louston asked.

"For being able to spend time together."

"Aw shucks, we're done with the ticklin' thing, right? I didn't know ya meant it. But-"

Cera cut him off, "ACK! Dornt tak a rise it o yerself loch 'at again, dummy!" And pinched the left of his face. Who knew Lou was also sensitive there too?

First Kisses, part 2: Eclipse Edition

Blood Moon

This one counts as a technicality, since it's a cheek smooch, but it was still the first.

By design, the Eclipses are programmed with a lot of knowledge about things that directly increase the chances of a successful mission; knowledge of interpersonal relationships are not pat of that catalogue. Because of that, and his own natural curiosity, Blood tends to observe a lot of things and then ask questions about what he sees that he doesn't quite understand.

What he saw was a lot of tender interactions between Jenn, Sun and Moon because at the time, they were already in a relationship. Not understanding what that entailed--and after some plot things happened--he began to pester Jenn with questions that culminated in her giving in and offering to show him what the 'big deal' was about a kiss. Of course, since he didn't actually know what he was asking for, Jenn didn't give a full one--just a smooch, nothing scandalous.

Unsurprisingly, it backfired stupendously and now Blood has become slightly addicted to physical affection as a chronic snuggle-bug. He's since learned how to properly share her attention with the others (mostly).

Black Sun

The last of the main 4 but probably my favorite one for story reasons (don't worry about the scuffs and scratches, I promise that wasn't his doing).

After studying all of the interactions and interrogating his brother about it, Black thought he had this 'love' thing figured out. To his credit, he did--in an intellectual manner at least. He understood the concept of brain chemicals and hormones--despite not having any (that he knew of)--and the practical aspect of a bond; he even understood the desire for companionship and connection. It just never... clicked.

That fact never really sank in until he was forced (by plot) to stare down the difference between himself and the others about their feelings toward Jenn, and hers to them; to reconcile that he didn't understand it at all. Not the way they did. Even his own brother, Blood Moon, had a better grasp on love than he did, even if it was different from the other two. Ego bruised and humiliated, he got in some brooding time to try and understand where he went wrong--though doing so caused a deeper rift between him and Jenn in the process.

But plot stops for no one and it came after them both like a pack of dogs. With no where to go and no one else to talk to, they had to break down that wall if they wanted to understand each other...

The first crack was a decisive come-to-Jesus moment, but one crack is all it took for that wall to come crashing down. In the heat of the moment and hindsight to recent events, Black finally understood what the others knew--his timing wasn't great all things considered, but Jenn was more surprised than upset, as she'd accepted Black simply didn't like her. At least not in the way he ended up expressing.

Now the trick is getting him to leave her alone when the others aren't around. Eclipses being clingy was not in the dataset.

Lunar and Eclipse took control, there's a new security guard, Y/n. Who was quite familiar with Sun and Moon and their shenanigans and problems. They didn't seem to mind Lunar though. A lot of things have changed since the show. They walked into Lunar giggling, on the floor, holding his stomach.

"Lunar, you okay, bud?" They asked.

"Mhmhmhmhm, ihihim fine" He giggled, whispering something to himself. "M-moon stop it!"

They were about to say otherwise before their friend called them over.

"Yea, F/n?" They called

Lunar burst out laughing when he felt a ticklish sensation on his neck.

"N-NOHOHOHOHOT THEHEHEHEHERE! NOT THERE!" He shouted, drawing Eclipse's attention.

"Lunar? Why are you laughing like that?" Eclipse asked.

"MOHOHOON!"

"What about Moon?"

"HEHEHEHE'S TIHIHIHICKLING MEHEHEHE!"

Eclipse was confused. How could Moon tickle Lunar if he's in the same body- oh right Moon has magic. Eclipse knew he can't help his brother or else he's gonna get tickled, so he fled.

"Oh? Your brother doesn't even wanna help you~" he teased in Lunar's head as he continued the tickling on his belly.

"OHOHOHO MHYHYHY STAHAHAHARS!"

"Tik-a tik-a tik-a tik-a" Moon repeated like 20 times.

"IHIHIHIT TIC- AHAHAHAHA! TICKLES!" Lunar shouted as he tried rubbing the sensation away.

Moon got bored of Lunar's tummy so he toned the ticklish sensation down and went to his knees.

"Ehehehehe M-moon"

"Yea?.."

"Sthohohohop"

Moon was starting to go down from his knees.

"Oh? Why should I?..." Moon asked.

Lunar was starting to giggle in anticipation.

"Ehehehehe....wahahahait... " Lunar giggled

"Why should I stop when your brother ruined me and my brother's lives...."

"I....i hahahahad nothing to dohoho with thahahahat"

Moon was getting closer to Lunar's feet, which was already making Lunar laugh.

"Nyahahahahaa! Nohoho"

"You followed with Eclipse's plan." Moon said, getting to Lunar's ankles.

"He would've- NYAHAHAHAHAA!!! C-CUT IT OHOHOHOUT! " Lunar starting kicking.

"You're like Sun, hm? Kicked me in the face last time I tried tickling here~" he teased

"W-WELL MAHAHAHAYBE IHIHIHI- BAHAHAHAHAHA" Lunar could barely speak

Y/n came back now fully aware what's happening.

"Okay moon cut it out" They said, putting their hands on their hips.

"Fiinnee..." Moon groaned as he stopped.

Lunar caught his breath and Y/n helped him up.

"Do you wanna let Moon out after that?"

"Still no"

"Oh boy

OH MY GOD. ooohh the pain, so heart wrenching and good ... medea really loved solara so much ... sobs. at least he finally allowed himself some kind of selfishness, pop off boy!! yes you loved him too!!

i think medea in this story is rlly my favourite character because his story is so good, interesting, deep and tragic and maybe because i relate to him a little. SUCH A GOOD CHARACTER AND STORY!!

ALSO AS A BUILDUP FOR THE REINCARNATION PLOT, MUMBO KNEW SCAR LOVED SOLARA. HE KNEW. HE KNEW AND KEPT GRIAN FROM HIM!! pain pain pain all i know is pain the brainrot haHa

medea was very fun to write, and honestly even though I wrote the whole fic in his perspective I was worried he was ooc DHDHRGR but I’m happy that his character was received so well !! :D

and here is where I point back to the ask from yesterday, where we talked about scar seeing grian and thinking, “is this a second chance?” and I refer back this little section.

avoiding chapter 3 spoilers butttt, I definitely think scar would consider making a move on grian for a moment. he really, truly would. because maybe this is his chance! maybe it’s his turn to love solara! but… that wouldn’t be fair to grian. because grian isn’t solara. they may share the same face and voice, but grian is a stranger. he can’t just project an old love onto a stranger simply because of [REDACTED ;3]

removing the redacted now, he can’t just project an old love onto a stranger simply because he regrets never telling solara how he felt. and now, mumbo knew about scar’s feelings.

he knew, and yet he kept grian a secret. and maybe it was because of those feelings that scar had for his love. I wonder how scar will react to that… finding out that mumbo kept grian a secret 🤔

However, Johan was loved by his mother dearly. Even if she was unable to provide for him. It haunted her for ages after everything too.

Prince MacBeth

Prince is the nephew of Divus Crewel , and older cousin of Janice Everest. His mother , Diva Crewel is divus' older sister. His father was Timothy MacBeth. Hence his last name.

His mother murdered his father when Prince was twelve years old , while he and Janice were having a sleep over with The later founded Hexorcists. He heard it from the beginning. But didn't investigate further to see.

His father was reported missing 2 days later , diva fabricating it as him running off while he was on a business trip with some hussy.

Prince and his mother are still close , and he seems unbothered by her actions. While Eclipse, Birch and Janice remain oblivious.
